After graduating from the Pratt Institute (M.S.), New York, Kim participated in various art residency programmes and projects internationally including the United States, China, India, Mongolia, Costa Rica, Germany, Austria, Australia, Spain, Morocco, and Norway. She has been actively involved in multi-media workshops and projects. In 2005, she published “Dreamtime Story; Tracing” and was invited to participate

in the annual computer graphics conference SIGGRAPH (USA 2005). Additionally she has held 16 solo exhibitions including the Savina Museum of Contemporary Art (2019), SOMA Museum of Art Drawing Center (2012), Spacecan (Beijing 798, 2012), POSCO Art Museum (2010).
