Exhibiting Artist: Aeri LEE

Aeri Lee (b. 1969) completed her Ph.D. from Sookmyung Women's University. Since the 1990s, she has exhibited her works in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is actively engaged in numerous awards as a judge and in advisory capacities.

She is currently a visiting professor at Hyupseong University and Sookmyung Women's University, teaching art. Additionally, she has shown her artworks at Art Basel Maimi (2021). Through her practice Lee prays for good fortune and happiness by discussing the themes of success, love, wealth, happiness, and fertility depicted by the Ground Cherry drawn with traditional Korean materials (hanji, ink, and gouache).
