The Galerie Da-End (« Oval » in japanese) opened its doors during the summer of 2010, in the area of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Supporting the work of emerging or experienced international artists, alongside contemporary Japanese artists, the gallery constitutes a frank alternative to the traditional « white cube ». Far from complying with the latest trends or subject itself to extraneous imperatives, Da-End intends to offer singular events in which emotions and visual poetry take precedence over every other discourse. The main objective is to awaken sensitive areas and to arrange a nonconformist, contemporary and ideal cabinet of curiosities.
