Nat Bowen is a British, self-taught, resin artist and fashion design graduate of the London College of Fashion in 2008.

Bowen uses the study of Chromology, the psychology behind colour, as a way to communicate nonverbally through her large scale resin artworks. She relates her practise to wellbeing, meditation and mental health, using it as a form of therapy, enabling her to detach from technology and everyday distractions. A meditative state is resumed when applying the resin, a mindfulness the viewer is encouraged to adopt whilst observing her work. Colour can only be realised through the presence of light so Bowen deliberately works with a luminous medium to intensify the colours and enhance the physical and emotional impact on the viewer.

Works by Bowen are in private collections worldwide and have been shown in London, Miami, New York, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Chicago and San Francisco.

Address: Nat Bowen Studio 22, 246 Stockwell Road, London SW9 9SP
