Using the medium of photography, she manipulates the information collected by the matrix of digital camera to demonstrate different projection of a given subject in attempt to expose its essence.
Her work has been exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (2014), State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2011, 2015).
Katya was commissioned to produce five art calendars (2009-2013), a photography book Colors of Jazz (2010), and the illustrations for the book Identifying The Woman (2016).
