International Art Development Association (IADA) is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary art from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. To facilitate its own integration into the global art scene, IADA actively encourages cultural exchanges and hosts artistic events around the world, especially in Europe. The organisation’s philosophy is deeply rooted in the understanding that art and culture play a pivotal role in the overall development of a geographic region and shaping its identity.
ai projects is the brainchild of two London-based art specialists Aliya de Tiesenhausen and Indira Dyussebayeva-Ziyabek. The initiative aims to connect art professionals and art enthusiasts in general, promote wider awareness of Central Asian art in the UK, and acquaint Central Asian art lovers with British artistic creations.
At START 2019, ai projects teams up with IADA to present three Central Asian contemporary artists, Gulnur Mukazhanova, Aza Shadenova, and Askhat Akhmedyarov.
