Ming Lu (b.1993, China) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in London.
In her recent work Ming Lu takes inspiration from everyday materials, humorously adopting and adapting symbols and language from Chinese history. She uses many ordinary daily objects in her work as confrontational metaphors of the human body, stating that: “As I transform the objects into metaphors of human bodies, I sometimes give the body parts a utilitarian function”.
